Largo Arts Week is officially back! We are throwing open the doors to the creative heartbeat of our villages for a massive 9-day celebration of art, craft, sculpture, photography, and everything in between.

'Of The Community, By The Community, For The Community'
Castaway Crate Trail
Get ready to search our castaway crates sculpture trail for secret objects in our collaboration this year with Lundin Mill Primary and Nursery. Celebrating the 350th anniversary of Alexander Selkirk, our very own Robinson Crusoe, the trail shows beach treasure and a few more unusual objects to find and count. Sponsored again by Stuart’s the bakers there’s a cake prize to hunt down too!
The Selkirk Seagull's Project
The Selkirk Seagulls are Flying High for Maggie's! 🎨🎗️
We are absolutely thrilled to announce a spectacular community art project for this year's Largo Arts Week, organised in proud partnership with Maggie's!
In a wonderful collaboration with brilliant local ceramicist Simon Ward, we challenged local artists to bring their own unique, creative vision of a Selkirk Seagull to life. The results are flying in, and they are nothing short of incredible! You can catch a sneak peek of these stunning, one-of-a-kind creations below.

The entire collection will be on public display throughout Largo Arts Week at Penny & Black in Lundin Links. Come marvel at the local talent, spot your favourites, and celebrate our community's creative spirit!
🔨 Bid to Take One Home!
Want to own one of these magnificent birds? We will be hosting an Online Auction where you can bid on your favourite gull. Best of all, every single penny raised will go directly to support the incredible work of Maggie's Charity.
Painting Competition
The Arts Week Painting Competition 🎨🎗️
Once again Largo will host it’s popular annual Painting Challenge as part of Largo Arts Week 2026
On Thursday 23rd July artists of all experiences are invited to join us in and around Largo to produce a drawing or painting of this inspiring landscape.
Prizes will be awarded for ages 16 and over. All entries under the age of 16 will receive a voucher for an ice cream from Zubi’’s shop at 1 Main Street.
After choosing a location, each artist has a day to create their artwork. They use their own materials and work in any style, medium they wish (unfortunately we cannot display entries in oils or diluted oil pastels).
Entries will be put on display at the Crusoe although we ask you take your painting away by 6.30pm. There will be no arrangements for storing artwork.
Registration will open at 9.00am until 11.00am at the Crusoe Hotel where we ask you pay a nominal fee of £4
Your paper/canvas or sketchpad will be stamped. Under 16 yrs old entries are free.
Completed works will be received between 4.00 and 5.00pm
Judging and prize giving will take place at 5.30pm
